I LOVE Babies, Really...

I watch my friend's babies for them because secretly I want another one but don't want to RAISE another...you know what I mean. So, today is one of the days I have 3...2 under the age of 1 and the other under 2. Normally it's a pretty mild day. I say NORMALLY. At this point in the day I've had all 3 for only 15 minutes. I hear water running and deduce in my mind that the oldest, today we'll call him "The Kingpin" (if you'll remember from earlier posts we used to call him Sanchez), has gotten up on the kitchen counter AGAIN and has turned on the faucet. Nope. The "running water" sound I'm hearing (and I'm amazed that I CAN hear it because the youngest baby is serenading everyone with a scream) is actually a soda can that he shook then dropped on the tile floor, which caused it to get a pin hole, which allowed it to spray across my entire kitchen floor, onto all cabinets and one refridgerator in it's wake, AND spray all over his 9-month-old sister who has a HUGE smile on her face and is sitting in the MIDDLE of the kitchen floor right in front of most of the spray, wiping her eyes and licking all the soda off of her mouth. Did I mention this was Big Red soda? Red soda that likes to change the color of white grout? Needless to say, bathing was required for babies AND my kitchen. I love babies.

Easter

What a great end to Spring Break. We decided to spend a relaxing afternoon at Tule Springs park.

Meghan chased the geese...

They didn't like it very much...

and hunted for Easter eggs...

Daddy played some guitar...
(he made this look on purpose trying to look "folky in the park")

Ian, Max, and Olivia hung out and listened to their new Easter ipods...

On the way out of the park Meghan wanted to stop and see the peacocks...

I told this one "we have to go, why in the heck don't you just open your plume!"

He turned his head, looked right at me and did just that!

Nick Takes A Depp In Bikini Bottom...

Hee hee...I'm giddy!
For the first of its series of special on-air events during a yearlong celebration of SpongeBob SquarePants‘ 10th anniversary, Nickelodeon brings superstar Johnny Depp on board as a guest voice in the “SpongeBob vs. the Big One” episode, premiering April 17 at 8pm ET. In the special, SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward and Mr. Krabs are swept away by a giant wave in Goo Lagoon. Mr. Krabs is carried to the haunted waters of Dutchman’s Triangle, and the other three find themselves stranded on a remote tropical island. In order to escape, they must find surf guru Jack Kahuna Laguna (the gnarly, buff dude in the photo, voiced by Depp). JKL, as he is known, informs them that the only way back to Bikini Bottom is to surf the legendary wave called The Big One, which will arrive in just a matter of days. SpongeBob and the gang must absorb JKL’s lessons in order to shred the surf to avoid wiping out on the ride of their lives. The episode will encore on Nicktoons April 19 at 10pm ET.
